I been doing the mutiple HINs with SPPs for over 25 SPP in the 18 months.
If they need the funds, they will accept it, dont u worry.
I find buy buying approx $200-250 in a stock under each HIN, geenrally is enought to get a decent return on average with Share Purchas plans.
U minimise the risk in the first instance, buy buying a small parcle, then waitng til the 2nd last day to send the cheque.
Cheques also allows u an additional 3 days after the closing dates to CANCEL any or all the cheques (standard banking procudures).. this is great just incase thersa mini crash ..bad announcment and the margin isnt that great
