To all you good holders of FLC, take a good look at the story...

To all you good holders of FLC, take a good look at the story behind Aconex (ACX). Shareholders on that forum will tell you of how they have suffered a sustained assault on the share price in spite of extraordinary earnings (current and potential) as well as growth in those earnings, in a market with a TAM in the $trillions, in which they are the unrivalled market leader with the clear jump on any potential competitor. Today the "invisible hand" reveals itself - Oracle Corporation with a low ball takeover offer - with management cheering from the sidelines that it is a good deal. Well, yes, I will make a little money if the offer is taken up, but nowhere near the 10 bags I fully expected in 10 years or so. The outlook for this company was truly mind boggling. Go and have a look. Did management support the SP while Oracle mysteriously built a 13.5% position over a sustained period (without a 5% significant holder market announcement)? Of course not. They made their own arrangements.

As a long suffering shareholder that bought high on management promises but managed to average down (below the offer price) I am weary of large vested interests being able to exploit the weakness of disclosure/governance/oversight rules on the ASX.

I believe a similar play is unfolding with FLC right now. Let's wait and see.
