hi holders
article here definitely worth a look folks. case before the OCC last Friday was a "final order horizontal spacing" for what will be RFEs first 640 acre block and the McMurtry horizontal well.
the great state of Oklahoma has a hell of a procedure for spacing and pooling.
RFE are in control of the 640 acre block, ie they own 321 acres or more.
this case was to apply for a spacing unit to be created where a single well drilled will hold acres by production.
from my understanding this requires technical testimony (engineering and geology)in front of the commission to justify the spacing.
once the final order has been made the "pooling" can commence.
as i have mentioned in the past, pooling is where RFE can speak to the minority owners of acres in the 640 acre block and offer the opportunity to participate in the well or to sell those acres at the last price paid for acres in the 640 acre block.
basically when the final order for pooling is held, if there are any undecided owners they will be "force pooled"
so from this RFE will either get a few minor JV partners paying their percentage of drilling costs or our acreage will increase. though we havnt officially reached the pooling stage, it is quite possible that all the minor partners have decided what they will do.
getting closer and closer guys, dotting the Is and crossing the Ts at the moment, quite possibly a water well being completed also, expect drilling perhaps in around 4 weeks?
