This reliance on old energy does in fact benefit A2M and is a risk to A2M as it could be seen by the Trump Administration or The Party in the P.R.C. to be a "state subsidy" to agri in Australia/NZ. Companies have called for reverse subsidies by the President Trump Administration and even to President Xi by the Rural Faction in The Party in the P.R.C. This may give rise to sanctions against companies like A2M to favor of US companies such as Dean Foods, Lifeway, P.R.C. such as Mengniu and Yili Group whose farmers pay more and must use "renewables" at extra cost.

So if you do hold A2M stock, I would not bring up energy usage by farms and lack of renewables in Australasia unless you want to sell and short IMHO. For example, our energy in NYC is hydro-electric from the Rockys which seems more green than anything in NZ or Australia which still has gas fired and coal/ belching plants like Loy Yang. Dean Foods, a competitor to A2M in some parts of Asia, has farmers majority renewable sourced in the South not only in Texas.

Trade sanctions against dairy such as A2M remain a possibility especially if an Ardern Government was to ever occur in Wellington. Pipelines can't get up in America and Canada due to the Environmental lobby yet in Australia and NZ, no voter will ever allow old energy to be decommissioned and old energy stations like Liddell are kept open and give Australasian industry an unfair advantage IMHO but pls DYOR.
