The same thing happened again on Friday 8th May, but this time it was not very effective - the last trade just before 4pm was at $7.57, then a Sell order was placed for 7 @ $7.38. This was executed at 4.10pm for $7.53, lowering the closing price by 4c. The average price for the day was $7.545.
I was annoyed when the 1:100 consolidation was announced and the share price dropped from around 11-12c to 4c (pre consol.), but have been relieved that it has not dropped further since the consolidation, and has actually crept up again despite little attempts at manipulation.
