I agree, but in times where there is a correction in the overall market, silver and gold also gets sold off because of margin calls... (people selling winning positions such as gold and silver to pay margin calls)...

In the past when there has been a general correction the US dollar for some reason has been bought for a 'safe haven'... I don't call the US dollar a safe haven the market still does and that's all that matters... besides, the US dollar will have some bounces along the way, some call it dead cat bounces...
