yeah of course nothing wrong with using consultants. However, if we are to value the companies highly they must be able to do things others can't. So ultimately I think any ucg hopeful needs to develop its own skills, experience and technology in the core UCG area and maintain them inhouse. If they don't do that, the barriers to entry of others will be low and their long term future may not be sustainable. Now granted at the moment we are a longway from a plug-and-play scenario for UCG.
Others often point to the coal resource itself and place large valuations on the companies based on the resource. These valuations assume you can monetise the resource using the technology. In the case of CSM that potential has been demonstrated and so we have BG and others wanting to buy into the resource in a big way. However, that still needs to be demonstrated for UCG.
