As I mentioned earlier all the chairman stated was that the numbers were close (meaning within 15% ) of the bloomberg consensus numbers.
I have no idea what the Bloomberg consensus numbers are, nor has anyone mentioned what they are. If this mysterious consensus number was anywhere near last years, then I'm sure the chairman would have mentioned it.
This is probably a classic case of sell the rumour and buy on the news, if there is a panic bottom when the numbers comes out looking bad.
