By the way, if we're getting pernickety about people getting things wrong, this is not one of the Confederate flags. (They had three.)
It's not even the Confederate battle flag, it's the battle flag of the Army of Tennessee.
I do agree with the sentiment though. I remember after 9/11, a bunch of Americans were outraged at the release of a book called "The Two Towers" and many death threats were sent to the author. Not knowing that J R R Tolkien died in 1973, and this second book in the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy was first published in 1954.
