It is a good post, and tale of caution. In my experience, for the stocks I am most optimistic about, the presence of one of these guys who obsessively posts continuous love letters is a bad sign. I am not saying there is any bad intention or hidden agenda, it is just my experience. To me, it is a better sign when the stock board is more level headed. As a result, I can have a tendency to try and bring down the fanboys to reality, and respect the posters who present cautionary information. However the culture on stock boards tends to be hostile to cautionary info, and they more like to get an emotional boost from everybody counting their future money. Like you, I've seen it go the other way too many times.
