Well that's where the powerstations are located so no real surprise.
Unless it's a typo I have to say I was extremely surprised to see a 2005 MOU already existed between Hazelwood (International Power) and ECT. I'm not even sure it was ever ann....??
Anyway, there's been a lot of water under the bridge since then in terms of industry development, technology and direction so I would be interested to see exactly what has progressed. Remember as each day goes the door is closing as powerstations partner up or commit to a respective technology.
Hazelwood...Yallourn....or Loy Yang B....what's it going to be??
IMO ESI need to cement a position ASAP as this industry is moving very fast. Management cannot afford to play games or take their time.
