As a CLW fan, thought I'd start a discussion thread.
Deflation is starting to result in a nice rebound here. The inflation data reducing to 6% put a smile on my face and showed up across the whole real estate sector yesterday. The fundamentals of CLW remain strong particularly with 50% of rents tied to CPI, and the extra-long WALE's, so I only see real upside here in the long term. Where will CLW be when inflation finally comes back to the 2-3% target range? Far north of the current price per share I'm thinking. What will the distributions be going forward? Most of the debt is due to be rewritten several years from now also, and I'm confident that interest rates will not be any higher than today and possibly lower. So, I expect EPS to remain strong. Time will tell. But I'm hanging on for the ride.
