Charter Hall don’t any prisoners. The ‘incidental’ costs associated with this latest FUM building exercise was $30 million. About half was stamp duty which leaves about $15 million to be divided up between the various ‘interested parties. Charter Hall themselves take about 1% of the transaction just because….well than can, can’t they? As for a couple of the buildings they purchased on behalf of the punters one can be sure of one fact:the vendors were overjoyed!
Best plan….stay away.
