My question is how Track went from hitting the upper end of earn out to operating at the lower end of expectations on a subscriptions based business.
No one here would argue that in closing the deal Track owners did very well with 15% interest and two maximised earn out payments. They have a bullet payment coming end of year as well.
A point which I didn't bring up at the time is how much was brought forward into the earn out period. I am not suggesting anything untoward by Track, however any business would do this.
To long term investors this makes very little difference. It does however mean this quarter will be extremely important.
Pretty painfull to watch this slide on what I can only see as boredom from news flow. Investors seem sour about App updates when it's not the news they want.
Long term I am still not concerned, but it is putting a damper on watching my RAP run. Loading some ammunition for 15c.
