    I agree holding overnight and the potential for gaping can be a killer. I try to only hold less volatile stocks overnight. Or at least volatility that I'm comfortable with.

    Not real sure where the importance of win loss ratios comes from. Sure it's great to win more than you lose but all that matters is profit/loss. If you're winning 50% but you are closing losing trades quickly and letting winners run then you'll be in front.
