@Emu – Glad you’re enjoying the sound of your own posts, mate But let’s be honest — while YOU may find them “well-founded, balanced and informative,” most of us would respectfully say they’re more fiction than fact, with a sprinkle of fear-mongering for good measure.
You say you’re just being helpful — but it’s hard to ignore the pattern: constant worst-case hypotheticals, dramatic assumptions, and now ASX query speculation with no basis. Informative? Not quite. Entertaining? Sure, in a conspiracy-theory-meets-daytime-TV kind of way.
As for an ASX query — if one does arrive, it’ll probably be the usual “no material information” response, just like we’ve seen before. But let’s be honest — if it does happen, it’ll be less about price action and more about your constant nagging to the ASX. That’s probably the only reason I’d expect one to turn up at all!
In reality, CMD’s price movement isn’t surprising:
- It bounced from an extremely oversold level
- The register is tight and volume thin
- There’s a genuine $275M+ arbitration now in quantum phase under The Hague Court of International Arbitration
- Gold’s surging above $3,300, while CMD’s claim is based on $2,300
- CMD has no debt, a clean cap table, and a board sitting in the top 20 shareholders
So no, it’s not magic. It’s a real re-rate starting to unfold.
