Three men have been charged with secret commission offences over the construction of a luxury $1.6 million Brisbane home four years ago.
A 52-year-old from Shailer Park, 53-year-old from Ephraim Island and 41-year-old from Seven Hills were arrested and charged on Thursday.
They are accused of arranging for construction work to be carried out on the first suspect's personal home in 2012 and 2013.
Police claim the building work on the Brisbane property was carried out for free while the contractors were being paid for other projects, at a profit of more than $400,000 to the owner.
It is estimated the house is worth approximately $1.6 million.
The case was referred to the Royal Commission into Trade Union Governance and Corruption in December 2015.
All three men are due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on January 25.
