I do vaguely remember an interview with Gerry Harvey last year some time and I do believe that this suggestion (him running CML) came up. It was in relation to his assertions that he had a good succession plan in place at HN. When he mentioned that he had done several mill on his CML shares the suggestion came up and as I remember it he didnt outright say that he wouldnt like the job.
All the above is dredged up from the sludge in the bottom of my brain but it is as best as I remember it.
I dont hold CML but will if they bring back the shareholder discount card in full.
