Stimulation of granites at depth has been demonstrated by GDY (albeit using 16 000 000 L of water), and there is no evidence it cannot be replicated by other outfits, including GRK.
Also, on the point of geothermal being viewed as a natural nuclear resource, surely it is only a candle to the nuclear behemoth that lights up our solar system.....
And with regards to being clasified as renewable - Regeneration of heat resources will also occur via heat transfer from surrounding, 'unspoilt' heat resources, which, if enclosing a depleted resource from each direction, may create sustainability. But importantly, there is no current model that can estimate accurate regeneration times, so it is quite open to debate.
If I am rambling, it is because the water supply to the whole of Manly seems to be cut, the lady is at yoga, and there is literally only Erdinger(best beer) and red in my house, with the odd drop of port... I am doing my bit to avert our water crisis...
