You have made a valid point about Suntech and the "partnership" with Silex. I must admit I didn't realise the significance of Suntech, probably had my Solar Companies mixed up. I have since done a little research and in doing so I saw a photo of the Suntech guy you mentioned. I immediately remembered him from a TV story years ago when he was interviewed on a trip to Australia - where he had studied before returning to set up a Solar business in China. He was full of ideals about returning to his home country to help by establishing a solar business and he was also extremely thankful to Australia for his education.
I remember also thinking at the time - I wouldn't mind shares in his company because he seemed so confident of success. Seems I might get that chance.
