No that's not what I said - they did run a pilot plant - was successful getting 68% Fe, and traditionally you don't test a tailings system with a pilot plant. They opted for a dry tailings system for water conservation and costs etc. and depended on the specs, in hindsight they should have (and maybe they did, as I said I have done little reading/research on it). Was a stuff up I agree. Could you name the mines that they could of gone and seen - ones that are producing 16+ mtpa in a dry arid region. What perhaps they should have done is stuck with a Chinese design considering they are the biggest producers of magnetite in the world.
There seems to be a lot of complaining about management but as another poster has mentioned none of these posters seemed to have had the balls to go to the AGM. I have little time for the management as well - but it is what it is - move on.
Don't jump on what I have said to back up your anger - do some of your own research. Ps the pilbra is the Pilbara and Karara is certainly not in it.
