All depends on the geology you ignorant fool.
Research where there are gas bearing sands/shale is, and where there is gas bearing rock.
You will find the easy stuff's been done - Bass Straight.
Rock needs to be fracked, (or the gas bearing fissure's cracked open), to get a commercial gas flow.
Gippsland has heaps of gas but it's in rock.
