I'd like to report a capital loss in this tax return for CMR holding.
Is there any process or paperwork formality I would need to do prior to reporting a capital loss in my tax return with regard to the de-listed CMR shares?
Or is it as simple as what I bought them for is my total losses that I report in tax return and that it's simple enough to prove i had a holding and that they no longer exist and have no value, should there be any questions later?
What have others done?
Found this;
