There is a lot of short term selling. So exactly what you mentioned - people buying i.e. 240 and selling at 260. It could be people who have bigger holdings and are doing it on the side, or it could be there main way of making income.
To be honest, be glad that there's liquidity. Another stock i own with similar cap size has barely any depth at all, so getting in or out is extremely hard.
