Thanks for the response, i guess i was under the impression they somewhat hold onto their intrinsic value for the most part, i am prepared for fluctuations, corrections etc but i guess i just struggle to understand why unforseen catalysts can cause such panic selling in stocks across the board regardless of performance. So far my biggest takeaway is that the stock market is peak herd mentaility.
