A large majority of retail investors are usually buying the trend, they see something go up and don't want to miss out. They see their investment go down, panic and sell.
I have made several hundred thousand by doing the exact opposite. Buy, hold & sell based on what you think the business is worth. Ignore everyone else, stick to your own research and keep refining it over time.
