THC & CAN have their own business/operations to focus on and establish rather than acquire an established MM company, they are building their own from the ground up and obviously confident in each specific field (growing/oils etc) to keep it independent of others and under their own roof.

Regarding THC/CAN being involved in the $3m raise, I highly doubt it unless they are some savvy investors trying to flip a buck off the back of a deal they know will have the market singing.
