"If FAR believe in what they tell anyone why no arbitration or even a mention of it?"
and this is from the FAR quarterly:
"As at the date of writing, there is no update for shareholders regarding FAR’s right to pre-empt the sale of the ConocoPhillips 35% share of the Senegal RSSD project via sale of the ConocoPhillips Senegal BV entity. Government approval for the sale has not been advised and FAR remains ready to consider its pre-emptive rights as provided for under the Joint Operating Agreement and the pre- emptive rights notice issued to partners by ConocoPhillips."
Isn't it pretty obvious that the Senegalese government has asked FAR to hold on till they make a decision. Not saying that the decision has been made in FAR's favour but I don't see how you go to arbitration until the Senegalese government gives it's decisions on the sale.
As far as the statements from WPL and FAR are concerned, I would rather believe FAR management and that's why I hold their shares.
