Happer (83) who is not a climate scientist , but an expert in adaptive optics (useful in telescopes & communication systems)'s primary role seems to be providing arguments easily debunked by the 99.8 % of climate scientists that disagree with him. Though it seems he was handy for the likes of the Bush family (oil) to use to gaslight the public and keep fossil fuel donors happy for a decade or so.
It might be true we don't have the terrestrial minerals to build EVs for 8 billion people, but that's another argument altogether.
We also don't have the capacity to feed them all meat/fish rich diet - or even house them in a modest lower middle class lifestyle.
Anyways please take all this to the 'Ignorant Boomer Conspricacy page' of which I am sure HC has many.
