@CariKaya I also appreciate most of your contributions, you do some good research and provide some valuable insights. However, the CNB discussion board feels a bit more like the day-trading thread these days with the obsession about daily and weekly share price movements which probably explains the less frequent posting of some (including me)...its a bit tedious.

I need to go back and double check the Beadell and Agincourt corporate histories, but I don't recall either being a slam dunk. If they were, Peter, Rob and Greg might not have been so inclined to go again with CNB, favouring the comfort and luxury of a super yacht(s) in the Mediterranean instead. They grew both businesses to impressive market caps (from their starting points), but I don't think either of the takeovers were huge wealth creation events/successes.

As @name says though, we CNB shareholders get to benefit from the experiences, lessons and mistakes they made during their time at those companies. At the age they are at, CNB is probably their last roll of the dice to cement their professional legacies. The way I see it, we have a management team with significant skin in the game, who've been there and done it before, and are sufficiently motivated to achieve big things here. Combine that with CNB's cap structure, our land package etc and the odds are still looking good IMO.

    Cheers
