I will talk about our Pilbara projects only in this post and completely ignore Tick Hill (gold and copper).
I get the feeling that there are a lot of people reading this thread that are unaware of the drilling and soil sample results that we already have available fromStrelly. I will copy them here just for clarity. They are a copy/paste from our company website. I will put it in italics. They do not include any information about our recently acquired land holdings in the Mallina Basin, which have recently increased by 47% to 394 km2.
StrellyGold Project (100%)
Strelleyis underlain by Archean aged granite and greenstone rocks and is located 70 km northeast of the Hemi gold discovery of De Grey Mining Ltd (ASX: DEG).
TheTabbaTabbaShear Zone passes through the project and is a large scale anastomosing orogenic belt of greenstone associated with significant goldmineralisationwithin De Grey’s tenements 30 kms to the SW. A key target within theStrelleyGold Project is the convergence zone of theTabbaTabbaShear Zone and the interpreted northern extension of the Berghaus Shear Zone.
The Company has identified the followingfourprospects atStrelley:
7 km long Mobile Metal Ion (MMI) soil gold anomaly open to the southwest coincident with a ~300-500 m wide goldmineralisedbottom of hole RAB drilling anomaly.
>2 km long gold anomaly along theTabbaTabbaShear Zone with drill results up to 10 m @ 1.6 g/t gold including 2 m @ 5.7 g/t gold.
3 km long MMI soil gold anomaly, sparsely drilled on 500 m spaced sections with results up to 1 m @ 6.6 g/t gold and 3 m @ 1.5 g/t gold.
5 km long MMI soil gold anomaly at the intersection of theTabbaTabbaShear Zone and Berghaus Shear Zone.
Mount Grant Gold Project (80%)
Mount Grant is located approximately 20km East of the Company’sStrelleyGold Project and approximately 90 km northeast of the Hemi gold discovery of De Grey Mining Ltd (ASX: DEG).
Mount Grant contains 45 km of strike of greenstone effectively unexplored for gold and located under alluvial cover associated with the De Grey River catchment area.
As you can see the question isn't ifthere is gold there, the question ishow muchgold is there. All 4Strelleyprojects look exciting. Keep in mind that these are just very shallow, wide-spaced drilling, or just soil samples. They were not even looking specifically for gold at the time.
The potential here alone (ignoring our other projects) is undeniable.
