With spot gold prices big pullback overnight (down 5.8% and counting) today is going to be fascinating albeit slightly painful to watch.

I’m relatively new to PMs but have approached my investment in juniors as I would any business - with a laser focus on fundamentals. I expect the stocks that the newbie robinhood day traders have piled into (the “hot dog vendors”) are going to get crunched as they panic and sell. Although the fundamentally undervalued Carnaby’s of the world are unlikely to escape the sell off, I expect it to hold up better than its peer group. Time will tell, but a good buying opportunity potentially.

Be interesting to see how MKR goes given its debt levels and huge run of late. In my experience any company with elevated debt gets hit hardest in these sorts of corrections (all else being equal).
