Yes, under the rules of continuous disclosure the company must notify any information that a reasonable person would consider price sensitive without delay. It would be a brave board that tried to argue that mediocre results were not price or value sensitive. There's a useful pdf on the ASX website that's worth downloading. It's called "Continuous Disclosure; an Abridged Guide." For some reason I can't share the link here, but a search will find it easily.
