The USA need never default on their astronomical US dollar debts as the USA has the printing press. They can print trillions of dollars to their hearts content.

But you cannot print your way to prosperity as the USA is going to shortly find out. Repaying debts by the use of the printing press will totally trash the US dollar and create hyperinflation which is a currency event.

If the printing press is the solution just give US$50,000 to every adult to help with their debts and help stimulate the economy.

Again the US dollar would be trashed and inflation would blast through the roof.

There's also another issue here.

The US Government can only obtain more US paper dollars by getting deeper in debt to the Federal Reserve Bank. To get a million Federal Reserve Bank dollars which is the US currency, the US Government will have to issue a million dollars worth of bonds to the Federal Reserve Bank and pay the Federal Reserve Bank interest on this.

In return the privately owned, for private profit Federal Reserve Bank will issue the US Government with a million dollars of Federla Reserve Bank US currency.

Of course abolishing the privately owned Federal Reserve Bank's control of the US currency removes this massive drain on the US people.
