This time, two companies from the Netherlands and France were fortunate to be qualified to produce baby-fed products for China, and Bellamy's Australian factory also passed its highly anticipated Chinese organic product certification. However, the registration of a New Zealand milk powder company in China was “accidentally” cancelled.

2019 or update​

The snack food first takes everyone to see the situation on the surface. On December 24, the General Administration of Customs published the “Registration of Registration Information for Some Overseas Chinese Dairy Producers” on the official website. Five documents related to infant formula, including EU, Australia and New Zealand.  
This update means that after the institutional reform, the registration of overseas Chinese dairy production enterprises, which was originally under the responsibility of the Certification and Accreditation Administration, has been handed over to the General Administration of Customs in a comprehensive and smooth manner. According to the information, the last update of the information of the Certification and Accreditation Administration can be traced back to June 22, 2018, nearly half a year ago.

This also indicates that the overseas factory registration work has not stopped, and the General Administration of Customs will announce more new production enterprise registration information in an orderly and orderly manner in 2019.
From May 1, 2014, China officially registered and managed foreign companies that import dairy products. Overseas companies can only import their products after they have obtained the registration qualification. As we all know, obtaining the registration of a production enterprise is a necessary prerequisite for the registration of Chinese milk powder formula by “foreign milk powder”, and its importance is self-evident.

Australia​

In Australia, the first change came from Camperdown Powder Pty Ltd, a manufacturing company acquired by Bellamy. In the latest disclosure document, the factory China organic product certification, certificate number is 015OP1700782. The snack food generation further inquired that the certificate is valid until December 17, 2019.
This means that Bellamy's previous acquisition of this new capacity in Australia is finally expected to export its core organic milk powder product to the Chinese market through general trade.
Another change in Australia comes from the milk powder factory that was originally in the dairy industry. As the McGowan sells to Canadian dairy giant Saputo, in the latest document, the name of the factory has been changed to the name of the new owner "SAPUTO DAIRY AUSTRALIA PTY LTD", and its registered products remain unchanged, namely infant formula powder.
