It's about an AUD 80 million dollar rise thus far for Cairn.lse, I would have thought it made sense with the Cairn India oil discovery release but perhaps not as you've eluded to
Not sure what other information you have on Cairn hotkiwipav regarding their financials ect.but this news release

suggests they are planning to spend 3bn $ over 3 years now CNE/.lse has them listed as a 1bn co. I for sure dont know ANY company that spends 3x their market value over 3 years so perhaps they are a lot bigger than I thought, which makes me believe more in the theory that we wont see a massive rise in Cairn in comparison to FAR if Senegal comes through with the goods
On the flip side, if their decent rise today reflects the oil disc in India, then you can understand why we would expect to see a 10% + jump on Senegal
