Cairn is 26% up on mid-March lows; FAR is up by 16% over same period. Given the respective assets of both companies, that seems about right. Cairn is well on its way to production and has more irons in the fire, albeit offset by the uncertainty of its Indian tax issue.
I am surprised, though, that FAR went nowhere this week. There must be an outside chance of a trading halt on Monday - slim to be sure - so one can only assume that all punters are set, the elephants are in the starter's hands and the light is flashing.
Racing ... We hope!
Any angst I was feeling was well and truly assuaged by a conversation I had this week. Very confident about this. Just needs patience.
