I think you're right in a lot of your points

1. Still a lot of bad sentiment towards CNP - the announcement did not provide a lot of solid points but rather only confirmed rumors in regards to the extension, otherwise there was not a lot of real new material (and the "May deadline" did not help things).
2. Both a collection of good and bad news reported by the media sending a mixed response to the general public
3. Large volume of buyers/sellers being short-term traders looking for a quick dollar and exiting quickly once SP goes up a bit (hence the 'capping' that people have noticed).

I think what is really needed to turn this around is:
1. More positive news in regards to Centro in the papers (a gradual shift in views of a more positve note)
2. Getting past this May deadline with more positive announcements (with real content)
3. Some big buyers getting into the stock

The good thing is that we have seen a steady rise in the SP (amongst the crazy ups and downs) which is the thing to take note...
