I am a Newbie to share trading so sometimes thing appear to me and I can't quite get my head around them.
I understand CNP own 51 percent of CER why centro trade under two listings seems way too over my head but im willing to accept it as a givin.
What I don't understand is the market cap for CER is 823mil (lifted from investsmart.com.au) yet the Market cap for CNP is 220mil if CNP owns 51% of CER should they be atleast worth the 400mil that asset brings. Assuming they could acutally sell their stake in CER ?
Im sure there is a simple answer to this question just plaguing on me.
Thanks
