Rest assured they will be calling the lending syndicates bluff though. They intend to vote against the hybrid. So that's 16% and counting. Don't forget there are heaps of other p'ed off shareholders who will prefer to do their cash so to speak and vote against it.
Anyway if the d2e is voted down I think the lending syndicate will come up with something else. We've seen ample evidence now that CNP is in the "too big to fail" category.
