    Dividend have not been cancelled, it is in Limbo at the moment, the ex div date still stands.. in the event that they back pay everyone then p[eople holding CER shares at those dates will get Dividends, it is the same with CNP (21st dec).

    READ the announcement properly, I can't be bothered to cut and paste for you, otherwise I will.
