    Dollarswealth,
As point out before I come up with a range of answers determined discounts used in regions (Aust/US) & also value place on Service business. The range can be quite wide depending on discounts used.
I don't know what methods JPM used but I believe they may have been very generous in some of their discounting. My model effectively has fairly harsh discounts so I know I may have erred on the conservative side. If you over value assets your model is only fooling yourself.
If you run a model on CNP in the current market you need to run some harsh discounts for your own benefit. If in fact you have over estimated discounts the benefits will eventually flow to you if you own the share long term.
No point in painting rosie pictures.
Currently don't own stock & will review after Report on 28/2/2008.
Remember prices today/next week irrelevant as they can go all over the place, but range of values stays fairly consistent.
All lower prices would do next week is lower risk & improve risk/reward ratio.
    Regards
    Buffet
