I have also employed such tactic, but only recently. I have " invest " and lost heaps in CNP, but it failed the last rally yet again, I dumped the lot, where I've traded then for 1.443 CER and 2.205 VPG shares. my most concerned for CNP is, maybe I am very simple minded, that if CNP goes up to a buck in the future, my cut would still be 9.9 cents in real term. the bank will protect themself by insisting a clause such as that if the conversion failed to pass the vote they will want their $ back within x days with heavy penalty imposed. good luck to all holder as I am totally over CNP.
