Anyone's thoughts on the current CNQ charts?
I thought that it's really interesting how the current downtrend the SP is in, starting from ~78c mark is so similar what we saw back in August. After about month of decline we again get a hammer type candle once with a wick down to the mid 50c area and rally up. Spooky hey?
Now looking at the order book, there's a big order at 70c and got me wondering if there are some intentional attempts to cap the price perhaps?k
All in all, I think this at least shows how much support there is at the mid 50c price. I also wonder if it shows that there are some interested parties out there actively trying to accumulate CNQ at these prices? Looking at on-balance volume in this down trend, there is definitely more volume on the green days. But the low liquidity, especially over xmas meant it was pretty easy to drive the price down on no volume.
Globally markets are pretty iffy, but continued increasing revenue + other positive news that brings in the extra liquidity could really see it move. All IMO of course.
