I certainly didn't mean to compare Cannon with Chalice, a $2B company.
Fisher actually is more advanced than Julimar, it has a mostly inferred JORC whereas Chalice will not have one before Q4 this year at the earliest.
Its true that the mineralisation extends downward at Fisher but the existing resource is not prohibitively deep.
The company plans to explore between the pits which is relatively shallow.
My thesis has never been that Fisher will become a another Julimar, but imo there is an opportunity right now to fill a gap in the nickel supply following BHPs deal to supply Tesla.
Fisher is a high grade ready to go resource and while not large it is at the right place at the right time.
Also, don't forget Sabre, there is potential there to greatly increase Cannon's nickel resource.
With sky high nickel prices CNR really does have a serious nickel resource imo
