The diving contractor, Intergrated Subsea Services, has pulled out on safety concerns regarding the experience of the diver/welders NMS has supplied to go into sat. The vessel, The BIBBY SAPHIRE, has work in the saxon field and is no longer chartered to CNR. Acergy have bidded on the job using a hyperbaric spead with full habitates at £45 million for one weld at the 40 meter level. This job has to be completed before the winter or the jacket will be shut down.
