i can only repeat what has been said previously.
Lihir paid $300/oz for Equigold when gold was trading at ~ 900/oz.
Gold is now ~ 1170/oz - almost 270/oz higher.
Takeover metrics must be raised - all historical 'norms' are out the window.
300/oz as a takeover 'guide' is now way too cheap imo.
Get to the AGM and hammer M. Calderwood about the TSX listing - should have been done 2 or 3 years ago.
