I should have been clearer - it is not so much a water refinery as an oil refinery they seem to be applying for.

Under the Projects >> Bloodwood Creek>> Public Notification go to Appendix 10, Page 10 :
"The proposed process water treatment system includes the following equipment.
Equipment Function
1. Hydrocyclone
To remove free oil.
2. Ultrafiltration
Removal of stabilised emulsified oil and
dissolved oil to 99%
3. MHR Macroporous
Hydrocarbon Removal
Removal of Phenols
4. Ozonation/ Advanced
Oxidation
Polishing unit may not be required and
should only be added if required and there is an end use for the water. VOC removal."
