Currently, Carbon Energy Limited — a joint venture between CSIRO and the mineral exploration company, METEX — has a pilot underway. The Bloodwood Creek project uses a parallel CRIP configuration and is on track to be the first commercially operated unit to generate electricity for sale through the grid. Bloodwood Creek will also be the site of 1000 ton-per-day ammonia plant.
