I'm not close enough to TNY to comment on the reasons, but I can compare it to Pushpay (who I do hold) and when the co-founder Chris Heaslip stepped down it def put a negative cloud on the company and the share price took a hit for at least 5 months (until it's recent recovery), because essentially the company was still performing behind the scenes.
